2-Alarm Heavy Machinery Fire, Leo's Pits, Old Worcester Rd. - 4/27/04
The Webster Rescue Squad responded along with Webster Fire and Webster Police to a reported Heavy Machinery fire at 14:22 on April 27, 2004 at Leo's Pits off Old Worcester Rd. Upon arrival, heavy fire was present with an adjacent 600 gallon oil tank creating an additional hazardous condition. The fire quickly went to a second alarm with Oxford and Douglas Fire assisting at the scene for Water supply purposes. Crews remained on scene for over 2 hours while overhauling and containing a resulting fuel spill.
