Rescue 2

1990 Ford Super duty 4x4 with Frontline 12' walk in body.

Rescue 2 is housed at Fire Headquarters. Rescue 2 responds to calls in tight locations such as narrow roads or off road calls. Rescue 2 is also the Rapid Intervention Team response vehicle. This truck also responds as the primary response during winter storm incidents and also as an additional piece of apparatus to calls when needed year round.

Rescue Service Unit (RSU)

1997 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4

The RSU is housed at Fire Headquarters.

The RSU is used to respond to various service related calls as well as emergency calls. The truck has seating for five, trailer hitch on rear for towing, 8,000 LB front bumper mounted winch, full Whelen strobe lighting package, roll out supply drawer in cargo area, and a chrome brush guard.

Dive Rescue 1 (DR1)

1985 Chevrolet Full Size Utility Panel Van

The Dive Rescue Unit is housed at Fire Headquarters.

This unit was a former tool supply vehicle and required a major overhaul. The Members' Association purchased the vehicle and has funded nearly all repairs needed to put it in service, costing the town next to nothing. Hovercraft

1990 12' Hoverguard model 600 on Trailer. The Hovercraft was purchased in 1990 with money raised by a fund drive sponsored by the Rotary Club. The cost in 1990, including the trailer was $18,000. The unit is powered by a 50 hp Yamaha engine, and can travel in/on land, water, ice, snow, mud, etc.

The Hovercraft is housed at Fire Headquarters.
